Induction/Orientation Interviews

Community Service Work Unit (CSWU) staff conduct induction/orientation interviews in Eclipse House on Mondays and Thursdays by appointment only. The CSWU Unit may be contacted on 6207 2789 to arrange an appointment.

Work Crews

Work crews are picked up at the Transitional Release Centre of the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) at 9am on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Work crews will operate between the following times:

• Wednesday - 9:00am to 4:45pm
• Saturday - 9:00am to 4:30pm
• Sunday - 9:00am to 4:30pm

Offenders should note that they may not be in possession of the following items at any time while on AMC grounds (including the carpark):

• intoxicating liquor,
• drugs and other illegal substances,
• implements used for administering drugs and illegal substances,
• implements designed or able to be used as a weapon or to assist in aiding an escape,
• scissors, firearms, ammunition, knives, any cutting blade, any other type of weapon or replicas of the aforementioned,
• tattoo guns,
• explosives or explosive devices, or
• any other item deemed inappropriate by the Superintendent.
